For Approx. three people !
Part 1 - Making Pizza Dough/ Base
Recipe :
1) Two Cups Maida
2) 1 Cup Yeast
3) Quarter Cup Warm Water
4) 1 Tablespoon Sugar
5) Pinch of Salt
6) 1 Tablespoon Mixed Herbs
7) 1 Tablespoon Chilly Flakes
8) 3 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
* Let the Sugar dissolve in Warm Water, dissolve the active Yeast in the Sugar Solution, let it rest for 10 minutes
* Sieve the Maida, add the activated yeast, two Tablespoon of Oil, Salt and Mix and make nice soft dough. Knead for 10 minutes.
* Make a Ball and apply remaining Olive oil, so that the dough does not dry. Cover it with filament paper, a cloth or can even put inside a container.
* Once this is done, it has to be left Overnight.
Part 2 : Preparing of Sauce
Ingredients :
1. Four ripe tomatoes
2. 1 Onion (small)
3. Ginger (approx. 2 inches)
4. Garlic (4 cloves)
5. Small chilly flakes.
6. Two tablespoon Oil (Olive)
Part 3 : Method :
* Put the Oil in the Kadai and Sauté the Onions.
* Put the chopped Tomato and let it cook until soft to get consistency.
*Put the Salt, Chilly flakes and check the taste.
* Let it Cool.
* Take a Big pressure Cooker and put half kg powdered Salt in the Cooker directly. Smooth Sand can also be used
up to 1 inch.
*IMPORTANTANT : REMOVE THE WHISTLE AND GASKET.
* Heat for 10 to 15 minutes, until it becomes Oven Hot.
* While it is heating, take out the Dough which had settled overnight. Note that the size of it would have been almost doubled.
* Pressure punch the dough and make it into three separate Balls.
* Take one Ball and flatten to approx. 1/4'' Base.
* Spread the Sauce.
*Use Toppings as required along with Pizza cheese. Toppings can be Capsicums, Sweet corn, Baby Corn, Mushrooms etc.
* Put it inside the Cooker for 15 minutes, until the Base is cooked.
* Serve Hot !
